Rizzi should be the permanent Head Coach

I do think Rizzi may have what it takes to be a decent or even good head coach in the NFL, but we'll have to wait and see. Even if thats true though, its typically not ideal to have a head coach is anything less than an offensive minded/QB guru unless you have a stable, good franchise QB.

Defensive minded coaches and special team coaches historically struggle to develop franchise QB's despite a few who have gold in the past like Bellichek (Brady).

I mean just recently Stroud and Lamar Jackson developed under Demeco Ryans and John Harbaugh. In addition to Belichick/Brady. Marino developed under Shula. There are probably more but those are 4 off the top of my head. And Steve Young only spent like one year under Bill Walsh before Siefert became the head coach.

I get that offensive coaches are the hot names now. But you just pick the best coach to lead a team and you have to count on him to pick the right coordinators on both sides of the ball if he's not an OC or a DC.

As far as Rizzi, he has 8 games to earn the job. I personally want to start fresh with someone not on the current staff, but Rizzi could change my mind and, if he does earn the job, they need to let him pick his own coordinators and staff.
