The 2024 Saints Team Will Run The Table to the Championship Game (Here's Why)

The Saints waited way too long to fire Dennis Allen. The cry for help started last season and no one listened. Now, we just have to endure the rest of this season.

I was hoping Kubiak could have made a slight difference and the first two games were way above expectations while somehow, I just knew it would crash down. I didn't expect a 6 game losing streak. I expected us to be around .500 at the BYE. This is not the worst I've seen, but it's definitely up there.

As much as I hope they could turn things around and win out, I don't want false hope to play with my emotions. If it happens, it happens and I'll be grateful, but realistically, we have a lot of needs and a lot of changes that still need to happen for a complete turnaround.
Speaking of Kubiak... with all the news coming out regarding all the strange ways that Allen dealt with players and staff, I can't help but wonder what the impact of DA's firing will have on Kubiak's way of calling plays now. Will he have more freedom to call plays and game plan for opponents? Or will a desperate Rizzi be even more concerned about how he should implement the offensive schemes?

If Rizzi tends to back away and give KK more control of the offense, then we will certainly know what kind of offensive coordinator we really have. But if Rizzi ends up being a micro-manager of this team, it may be hard to know for sure if what we'll see going forward is more the philosophy of Rizzi or Kubiak. I suppose the best thing would be if we are seeing a collaboration of two football minds who are already on the same page in regard to running the offense and assembling game plans for our opponents.

It would be great if there are no clashes when making decisions either before or during the games.
