The 2024 Saints Team Will Run The Table to the Championship Game (Here's Why)

While I appreciate your optimism……

I’ve been a Saints fan since the early 80’s. This is the second lowest point I have seen the Saints and there are quite a few to pull from. The first major low point was the now infamous “diddly-poo” speech followed up by Jim Mora quitting the next day. Ironically, it was too against the Carolina Panthers. This loss and the subsequent firing of Dennis Allen is the second. Now, with reports coming out of how bad DA ran the team and his (lack of) management skills with people, the Saints are rock bottom. Couple this with Mickey Loomis all but saying that Gayle Benson pulled the trigger and not him (thereby committing insubordination), the New Orleans Saints are struggling.

Will Darren Rizzi provide a spark with a “screw the outside noise” vibe? No doubt. The lack of talent and depth on this roster is their undoing. I am and always will root for the Saints but I am old enough and have seen enough to know that the Saints need a total clean up and that started with the firing of Dennis Allen, the trading of Marshon Lattimore and I believe it needs to continue with the letting go of Mickey Loomis.
