Charlie Warzel is a tech writer who has been covering Twitter/X for more than a decade - he recently wrote about the growing prevalence of hate and violence on X, and Musk’s tacit embrace and even amplification of some of it, particularly the replacement theory.

To be fair to users, I suspect it’s still possible as Semper said, to have your feed curated in a way that avoids that stuff and gives you what you’re interested in. But the deck is certainly stacked to amplify it.

yes, but most people don't want to take the time to have to jump through hoops to fix their feed. they'll simply just move on back to Facebook. Its very simpe to cater your Facebook. I can click Feeds>Friends and all i'll see is posts from Friends (with ads sprinkled in) or Fees>Groups and i'll only see posts from the groups i'm in.
