Here is where the word correlation is gonna come up for the 2nd time in the thread.
I have the suspicion that if McCoy doesn’t go down Carr doesn’t get hurt in KC. McCoy is the lynchpin for the offensive line he calls the protections and really is the second most important part (any center really) of the offense. There is a huge drop off from him to his backup just as there was between Carr and Rattler.
There is also a very impressive gambling stat that shows teams that loose their starting center almost never cover, for what that is worth.
He isn’t going to fix the fact that we have no one to throw passes to. He isn’t going to fix the defense, but what he will do is give Carr more time to decide which worse option is the best option. Maybe, our TE’s will get more involved with a little more time to get open.
Either way getting him back is going to be huge whether that is this week or next it can’t come soon enough.
