Holmes is one of the better GM's in the league. I wish he was our GM. I wish we were in the same position for the Lions.
That doesn't make Dan a bad coach - he has good footbally acumen and clearly is amazing at motivating and organising. There is a certain charisma to the task that some people either have or do not, Dan has it. DA was great with X's and O's and even at coordinating - but there were other areas he must have fell short.
TBH I am a little surprised at the flak Siriani gets by having 2 coordinators do the X's and O's. Seems like a smarter way to run things. One guy to organise and coordinate the team and others to work on the X's and O's. Seemed to be the way things were often done in the past.
