Look, I know Concussions and CTE are on the forefront but I tend to lean towards the Tua thinking on this. My life is more about providing for my children and children’s children than myself. I’d gladly die to save or advance them substantially. There is danger in everything we do. You think guys on an oil rig should retire because tomorrow they could lose their lives? I’m all for these players doing what they want. I’m pro-choice when it comes to that. In their position I’d play with a broken back for pure love and enjoyment plus the added benefit of generational wealth.
