How do the moves this week affect your feelings about the Falcons game this Sunday?

I'll be there with one of my grandsons. He's 8. He's been to about a half dozen or more games the past few years. He's got Saints fever at an early age.

He knows a lot of the players names and the surroundings of the Dome. He Loves the Saints and wishes they were winning more than they have been. Like me, he has entered Saints Fandom under distressed circumstances but with hope for a win on any given Sunday and hope for the future.

I was 8 years old when the New Orleans was awarded this franchise. I've loved the Saints win or lose for the past 58 years. That will not change. I've wished that they were winning more games more years than not.

I'd like to think my grandson will share my passion for the Saints his entire life.

We will attend together with excitement to see Alvin Kamara set the Saints All-Time Franchise Rushing Record. That's a moment and memory that we will share forever. It will happen Sunday.

We're excited to witness a new era for the Saints with the 1st game coached by Darren Rizzi. Wishing him all the best in his first contest against our most hated division rival.

It's Saints/Falcons home game week. Any true Saints fan needs no more motivation to want the Saints to win than that. But there is more. The Saints have a chance to tie the all-time series up instead of falling behind 2 games. Just Win!

Ms. B will surely be in attendance and most likely will be on the field at some point honoring somebody. It would be great if she was the 1st person to congratulate AK41 after he breaks the rushing record.

We'll be looking for something different. Anything will be better than continuing to chop wood. It's a new era for Saints football. It may only be temporary but that's OK as well.

If the Saints only win a single game the rest of the season this is the one I want it to be.

The Saints have an opportunity to break a 7 game losing streak, something not experienced by a Saints team in 25 years. A loss would sink the Saints to an 8-game losing streak, something not seen in 45 years. Either way the outcome Will be historical.

Against all odds I'd love to see the Saints embarrass the Clowns by them losing to what just a few hours before was considered possibly the worst team in the league, the Saints.

I'll get a chance to discuss adversity and the need to giving an all-out effort to overcome it; A rivalry and how it can bring out higher emotions in a person and how the passion to win is greater from within; How to be a good sport by accepting the outcome, like it or not, and live life to the fullest to fight another day.
I'll be watching the game today through the eyes of your grandson, because I remember the exact same feelings of anticipating each and every Saints game at that age and always having the hope of seeing them earn an exciting victory! Those were the days... when I could accept disappointment without having disgust. Hope is eternal when we are young. I want to watch today's game just like that young man!
