Hot Takes Welcome (Post Falcons Win)

My quick takes from Section 521:
- Our patchwork defensive secondary seemed to be all over the wide receivers, but Cousins seemed to sneak the ball in and the WR's for Atlanta made some great, tough catches. Game of inches.
- I knew Bijan is fast and shifty, but I didn't realize how well he could shake off tackles (insert - "our tacking sucks" here). Also, he came close to breaking a long run several times if not for one saving tackle. Until he did.
- Saints recieivers - The list of no-names stepped up just enough to Atlanta's D honest and not totally key on Kamara and HIll. Big props to MVS. He needed this type of game just as much as we need him to. Kevin Austin, Jr. gets honorable mention. Going into the game I really thought Tipton would have a nice day, but I don't know if he was even targeted.
- Cam Jordan - that was a vintage Jordan sack. He bowled over the lineman right into Cousins. I also noticed he made a couple of tackles on Bijan, but well upfield. On replay it was because he came from the opposite side of the line. He's not the player he was, but he had a decent day and you know you'll always get his full effort.
- We're still giving up yards on the ground. Nice effort on the goal line stance, but we could keep them out on the fourth try from inside the one.
- Yeah, Koo missed two field goals. One we blocked so. If the Falcons were a yard closer, that last one probably grazes the upright and goes in. Again, game of inches.
- The back judge was flag-happy. Rarely do you see two defensive holding calls on run plays (one against each team). Officiating wasn't terrible. The hold on Moreaux that took away Taysom's TD hurt. Only saw the replay once and it seemed picky, but I could be wrong.

- This was a terrific win. The defense looked better and though they moved the ball, they held them to only two TDs.
