John Mecom Jr didn’t like the way Hank was spending money on seemingly frivolous things and only winning 6 games in two seasons. After the sensation Bum created when coaching in Houston, Mecom was convinced that he could revive the Luv Ya Blue days in the Big Easy. Close, but no cigar.
