Derek Carr is still top ten in QBR this season per ESPN

I don't share the unnecessary hate that people have for Carr here or anywhere...in or outside the fan base. Of course he's not elite but he's better than half of the quarterbacks in this league. I have no problem with his demeanor or persona but I do criticize some of his games or the way he plays sometimes. I just hate the fact that in critical moments he tend to throw low percentage ball when a few yards are needed to make a critical first throw. Also I am not a fan of his scrambling ability. I just don't understand a guy who I think runs pretty fast but doesn't take advantage of it. I don't know if I see things differently but from my point of view he seems to run backward before he runs forward. It is like a bottom half circle. Drew Brees is slower but I see him make more of a effort to get positive yards. His scrambling is just weird and seems sort of stiff in his throwing stance. So far he has done a pretty fair job avoiding sacks. But I wish he use his feet better.
