Meanwhile, were several years removed from signing Michael Thomas to an elite contract for a WR so we're due at this point. Would rather sign a FA WR next year set it up where the cap hit is minimal year one but grows after that. So long as it's a 25 year old WR and not someone in their late 20's etc.

I wouldn't have a problem with that. But I'm not sure what the plan is going to be for the next couple years regarding the cap and free agency. I'm also not sure what kind of offense we will end up running. Even if Rizzi stays he could decide to go another direction.
