Jameis Winston played a heck of a game against the Saints!!!

It’s odd, as LSU fans were expecting Saban teams year after year, which is ridiculous. We always think we can compete with Bama until we actually play them. With the Saints, it seems the next QB or two gets smoked for just being the guy after the guy. I think Carr is dealing with this too. Otherwise I can’t justify the amount of literal hate he gets, even outside of this forum. So that has to be the reason, that and his rep was tainted by reporters at the time the fans were formulating their opinion. Or they are anti Christ, I’m mostly serious. Maybe because he’s Christian he appears weak to the livid haters. I can understand a level of dislike, becaue he’s not the best Qb ever, but it’s way beyond that. I’d say most likely it’s the Drew effect.
I think that Carr's issue here was he was presented as a solution to a problem when truth is, that position was the very least of our issues. That came with the fanfare and, at the time, a contract that many weren't feeling. Then the onfield and behind the scenes stuff. It's just been craziness with Carr, if we are being honest.

In my unprofessional opinion he plays too hot and cold to be a starter. For whatever reason most NFL coaches believe he doesn’t have what it takes to start any longer. My point was he can have a career in the NFL as a backup and the Saints could’ve used him this season.
He is about as hot and cold as Andrew Luck was, but "for reasons," they are seen differently. If he was drafted to the Titans instead of the Bucs, he would probably be seen as one of the best in the league now, because that was a better fit (and actually OK on defense)
