You're right you don't have to have #1 picks across the OL to be very good, but the best OLs are mostly 1st or 2nd rnd picks. And it depends on the scheme. If you primarily run wide zone it's all about the athleticism of the player and having a good LT. And yes coaching on the OL is big. We have 2 of the best at wide zone in Benton and Dennison. That's why I'm big on whoever is our next HC that they keep the whole offensive staff
