Should Saints pursue WR Tee Higgins?

Although I tend to think Higgins is going to make too much money to make sense for this team, as with most things in football, it probably depends on the scheme we play. It certainly looks like the running game is the key to the Kubiak offense and really helps Carr because it limits the hero ball that leads to turnovers, lets him use play action which is his strength, and keeps him a low volume QB which seems to work well for him. So if we are going to keep Kubiak it likely makes more sense to build the OL, find a backup RB, and look for a physical receiver in the draft. The calculation may be different in another scheme. But it looks like what we really need is some more physical WRs that can block and go over the middle on slants to beat the blitz.
That's where I'm at, and yet I'm being cognizant that Kamara/Taysom will be a year older and so things are going to happen that will limit their availability. In those moments it would help to have a guy like Higgins, especially w/ Olave's status in the air.

The conundrum w/ this team and WR's is the same the 49ers had. The viewed Aiyuk as a #2 internally but wanted #1 WR compensation. Getting a Justin Jefferson is great when it happens, but the scheme doesn't gear itself towards needing an Elite #1 WR anyway. Logically because you're not passing the ball 40x's a game regularly. It's almost a luxury. WR's aren't getting 11-12 targts a game, every week.

OL, RB, TE are higher on my radar right now.
