There are those out there who consider deleting X / joining Bluesky to be a form of peaceful protest over the results of November 5th, for whatever coping mechanism reason. If things had gone the other way, most people still wouldn't know what Bluesky is.

There also those who saw Elon for who he truly is. It was more about the manipulation of the platform to allow chaos to reign. I think Nov 5 was the straw for many ( including myself ) in the sense of the "community" on X is no longer a community- its completely divided and tilted.

I think Nick Underhill said it best upon his move to Bluesky-

Two posts deep and no one has called me a piece of sheet yet. This is wild.
