There also those who saw Elon for who he truly is. It was more about the manipulation of the platform to allow chaos to reign. I think Nov 5 was the straw for many ( including myself ) in the sense of the "community" on X is no longer a community- its completely divided and tilted.

Oh I have no doubt X is probably about like reading Tiger Droppings......where a mere difference in opinion leads to questions about that person's sexual orientation and/or accusations that their wife enjoys the company of other men.

Still, my overall point is, it wasn't like November 5th uncovered some massive reveal about Elon's political leanings. So there was definitely some degree of "I'm taking my ball and going home" over the outcome for many.
