Currently at #9. I think we lose at least 2-3 more games. I think 6-11 would result in a top 10 pick. So many needs. Old roster. No cap room. Need a HC and GM.
Cap room will never be a factor in adding players.
The FO always sign the players that they want,
no matter the cost or cap implications.
Extending players and signing UFAs to big contracts is how the team’s cap got into the predictament it’s in. Bottom line is the Saints need to primarily draft more impact players soon to improve the team.
Relying on signing free agents isn’t moving the needle.
