Ah, yes. The one game during the Super Bowl season of ours where coach stuck with a "ground and pound" attack. Pierre Thomas also had a great game that day, statistically, IIRC.
Y'all were quite brave going into another team's stadium and being Who Dats, overall. I couldn't ever do it!
I did it in 2017 in Lambeau. Packers fans were generally friendly and knowledgeable. The worst I heard directed at me was "Go Packers!" (which is perfectly fine).
I'm going to MetLife for Saints/Giants on Sunday, too.
As for kids, I wouldn't take my nieces/nephews to a road game, but I have taken my nephew to home Saints games in the 21st century even when he was pretty young and it was a great experience for him just as it was a great experience for me when my grandparents took me to the season opener in 1983 when I was 5 (a guy got too excited after a touchdown and spilled beer on my granny, but she took it in good humor).
