Saints are back in the top 10 draft picks after Rams loss

Like the idea but I’d rather we lose enough to already be up there, instead of moving up.

I have no doubt tho that Mickey will sell the farm to move up if that is needed.
I think you are under the mistaken idea that ML really runs the draft. He's not a football guy. He does not know if a OL or a WR is worth moving up to draft, He relies on what the HC and scouting dept. tells him. If the HC tell him this guy is worth it go get him he'll try and do it. Also if the HC tells him get this guy and we can make a run at the SB like SP told him about Davenport ML will make a trade up.
I don't look for ML to make any big trade ups in next yrs draft , in fact iot's more likely we trade down. It was reported that if Bowers was available when we picked @ 14 last yr we had a trade down with the Rams in place , but he got picked a spot before us.

Looking back at it if Bowers had been there and we traded back everyone would have been calling for ML's head seeing how great Boweres has been. I would say Bowers would have had a bigger impact on the team than Fuaga
