UnitedHealth CEO shot

I don’t want to live in a society where people are gunned down on the streets, corporate leaders make decisions that deny treatment and condemn people to death, elected officials undermine health and safety regulations, governments and industries conspire to jeopardize people, our environment, and our future to amplify profits. But we do live in that society and we have to recognize how all of these forces operate in concert with each other.

I’m not making a moral judgement that Thompson deserved to die, I’m acknowledging the relationship between actions and consequences within a purposely predatory system that constantly reminds us that morality isn’t part of the ledger sheet. There’s a mountain of inhumanity to consider before a bullet was ever fired and people haven’t reacted to that the way you think they should.

You're not making that judgment, but several here clearly are and several have supported such statements.

But, again, I'm cool with it. We now live in a world where it's okay to kill people you think are evil and don't act like you want them to act. It's the state of nature and I will act accordingly.
