While Archie Manning's scouting report had him as a first-round prospect and Taysom wasn't there, both Taysom's and Archie's scouting report had the same caveat:
"If he doesn't make it as a quarterback, he can still be a great running back."
The caveat difference was Archie was also a first-round prospect at shortstop... which the NFL didn't care about.
Unfortunately, I'm old enough to remember this.
