When I first started following these families/couples, it seemed like an excellent retirement plan.
I love travel and road trips.
However, many of these people sell everything and buy nice rigs to live on the road, so they need to make it work. The Pros and Cons are too many to list here but there's a ton of info on the do's and dont's of RV life. Thankfully, people post their mistakes as well as the cool stuff so others can learn from them.
RV's always need something fixed, so one of the best tips for anyone interested is to get something comfortable and easy to drive/pull and don't spend too much. They ALL break.
I would say we're still going to pursue this lifestyle to an extent. We're going to have a home base and travel for a month or so at a time and then go home when we're tired.
