And fwiw, I don't know. Have no idea what thr coaches think about it. They may already know and it's just a ruse, they may already be giving one the most reps and the other guy gets more reps next week. I don't think it matters that much anyway. This is more a dress rehearsal for those who will still be around next season.

If it isn’t convincing enough, then probably nothing they see this week will give them any more confidence going into Sunday. It’s almost pure luck to perform better at their experience level over this shorter evaluation period.

It’s largely not going to matter given our record, but I would like for the coach to try to rally the team around their new starter from the first practice (while also giving them the benefit of participating in a full install of that week’s game plan).
