Anyone else question why did Carr leap?

And you know what? They didn't get a first down and ended up having to punt. In a tight game when you're trying to keep the ball away from the offense, you're gonna try to get a first down any way you can.

And I've seen lots of QBs and RBs try to make the most of a given play. What Carr did isn't all that unusual. If he gains another yard, he'd get applauded, well, unless you don't like Carr.

Just about any other player and we'd be applauding a valiant effort.
Not so fast there; had Carr run between the defender and SAINTS blocker/guy in the wayer? Shoulder down and run through? We'll never know. What we DO KNOW? His effort did NOT prevail and now he's not only OUT but The SAINT's chances are left to Haener and/or Rattler or this new DiNuccio (sp) guy? There's aggressive play and there's "going insane" plays. Carr went insane........He's only successfully run the ball less than 5 Xs this entire season~! Anyway. It is what it is .........Glad so many of you "think" he did his best~! Geaux SAINTS~!
