Anyone else question why did Carr leap?

Watch the video. Carr tried to leap over a very much standing up Austin, so much that he whacked Austin in the head. Carr didn't get push into Austin. The only reason why the defender touched Carr was because Carr collided with Austin.

I don't know why some are so indignant that others say it was a bad decision by Carr. It was a bad decision. The right decision would've been to dive behind Austin and stay in bounds, not try to leap over a guy he obviously cant leap over.

And being aggressive doesn't necessarily lead to good decisions.
If he dives, he's gonna be at least 2, if not 3 yards short. Hindsight is a lot different than in the heat of the moment.
