Anyone else question why did Carr leap?
That shot is not indicative of the room DC had. He was 4 yds away from the 1st this shot shows there is no way he could cut behind Austin and got the 1st. But being it was 2nd down the smarter play would have been to go down in bounds to run more time off the clock and try and get the 1st on 3rd down.The outrage is real.
Had Carr dove behind Austin, he probably gets the 1st down.
But for whatever reason, he decided to leap over (more like go through) Austin, and whacked Austin in the head in the process.
It was a bad decision. Pointing out is was a bad decision is not hate. Calm down,
