It's not plausible Saquon doesn't have an outside chance of breaking it this year considering he has over 1,600+ rushing yards so far with 4 games left to play and he has 1-2 more 180-190 rushing yard games that put him over 2,000 rushing yards in a single-season. There's a very strong chance Saquon surpasses 2,000 rushing yards by Weeks 17 or 18, and he might be the closest all-around, duel-purpose superstar RB since Adrian Peterson to break Dickerson's record and AP came very, VERY CLOSE to breaking it in that 2012 season-finale game vs. Packers where he literally went off against Pack and co.
