I agree about Miller and I love how he runs the ball, but Williams is a non-factor as is every RB below him on the depth chart. That leaves AK and Miller with AK going into his age 30 season. At some point father time will catch up to him. AK's closest comps as a dual threat RB in the 5'10" 210-220lb range are LT and Faulk. Both LT and Faulk had good age 30 and 31 seasons, but dropped off significantly at 32 and didn't play again after that. AK is signed through his age 31 season, an extension agreed on between both he and the team which indicates all parties think he has 2 more seasons after this season. They'll reassess in 2026 to see if an age 32 season is possible, but historically with RBs like AK it hasn't been.
Jeanty hasn't been used a lot in the passing game this season, but he had 43 receptions last year so he is dual threat as well, but concetrating on carries this season. Jeanty can be that everydown back after AK is done.
I've started doing mocks with Jeanty as he's available sometimes whereas Tet and Graham are not. I like all three options and a case can be made for all of them. What I've learned from running these different mock simulations and different platforms is that we can address many of the team needs in this draft fairly easily due to the depth at RB, TE, OG, DT, DE and there are a few Big X WRs.
I've mentioned in this thread and others, that we have to look at the roster and see who can be developed into roles as that how the best teams build teams. I like JJ as a Big X WR and not as much as a TE going forward. JJ as a Big X compares favorably to the other Big X WRs in the draft and he's already been in the NFL for 5 seasons, but next year is his age 29 season so even with a conversion back to WR, he's still aging out so a replacement/understudy would be needed if he does make the switch back. Means, Tet, Harris, Jayden Higgins are all options there with Means already on the roster and developing, although he's not as big as those other guys so he's more of an X and not a Big X.
I also like the potential of Ridgeway who is only 25 and in his 3rd season in the NFL. I mentioned above what he needs to do, but overall those are options on the roster that can fill a couple of the needs, but either way, I would still draft a Big X WR and a monster NT/DT to level up/add depth and competition to those positions.
