We probably have Carr for one more season, at least, as I don't see Carson Beck or Quinn Ewers as having great, NFL-READY transition intangibles to quickly or gradually evolve into good NFL starters. Regrettably, I do see some scenarios where maybe a few desperate NFL teams and GM's looking to rapidly reboot a 3-4 year process into just a 1-2 years and take a chance on either Beck or Ewers. They'll make a similar mistake the Panthers did choosing Bryce Young over C.J. Stroud (even though former Panthers HC Frank Reich and most of the team wanted Stroud, ultimately, their idiot owner David Tepper's opinion won out and that disaster of a pick occured.)
Let's see how Carr does with hopefully a younger, fresher, more motivated HC who can focus entirely on rebuilding and reinforcing our supporting cast. Build up and bulk up on the trenches on both sides of the ball.
