Anyone else question why did Carr leap?

Honestly, the moment it happened I thought it was great. Our QB is putting it on the line for the team. Maybe the fans will start appreciating Carr. Then we he didn't get up my initial reaction was that he did too much and lost himself for the team.

But as an athlete you have to believe and play like you can beat the guy across from you. And in the moment you want to do whatever it takes to win the moment. I believe Carr did that. If I were playing next to him I would play with a little more motivation after seeing him want it so bad.
Pretty much where I'm at. You don't want your leaders to lose the aggressiveness that made them leaders to begin with. He was trying to make a play in the moment. I won't fault him for that.

And the team didn't quit after he went out. They played to the end and won the game.

And the silver lining is we'll get the backups some game experience and maybe figure out who the future is between Haener or Rattler or if we need to go get another QB assuming Carr is done after next season.
