Haener starts vs Commanders: 1 INT, 5 punts ; Rattler replaced Haener in 2H: led to 19 points

What in the world did the coaches see at practice to make them start Jake Haener today??? That was a very poor judgement call by Rizzi and our OC, because he was awful today and was awful all pre season. He is OUT OF PLACE for this level of football.

Were they listening to SaintsReport or something to make this poor decision, to “see what we have in him”. Well that poor decision may have cost Rizzi the opportunity to keep the job, because we lost.

Rattler is a rookie, but he shows A LOT of promise with an NFL level arm (especially with a little more line protection). Give Rattler 2 years to develop and we will have a legit starting QB that can compete in this league.

It now may be some other coach developing Rattler.
