Young is the most talented DE and best pass rusher on the team. He consistently produces the most pressures most weeks. He’s T-1st on the team in TFLs. He’s now T-2nd in sacks (5.5) behind Bresee (7.5).
He has 3.5 sacks in the last 5 games. I think Young will finish the season as the Saints’ sack leader.
Consistently productive, talented DEs are very hard to find in the draft or FA. Young is a must re-sign.
Or else, Foskey will be the 2nd DE when Cam Jordan retires.
