A TJ Watt-Myles Garrett season that outbids the Saints from even coming to the table in the 28M-30M range. Young is paid the same as Granderson with the same performance. He’s paid like a 25 year old productive 2nd DE with potential to be the top DL. It makes sense to re-sign Young than end up back in the circumstances of drafting more DEs similar to Foskey and Turner and continuously looking for 1st round DEs every draft. They shouldn’t overcomplicate keeping the team’s best players.
