I think this team can be built just fine in this offseason. The big one that we need to see is how our young QB develops. He came in at halftime and the team got going. This is a good sign. He seemed better than the last time he played. So, if the saints brain trust can decide to go with him, set Carr and his enormous salary free, that gives enough with a good draft to get some badly needed skill pieces. I’m not thinking we are Super Bowl next year, but add someone who can catch a pass to this roster as it sits and it makes this team consistently competitive.
