Early Saints 2025 4-Rd Mock Draft: Georgia DE Mykel Williams at no.10

There will be QBs, DL, and OL going fast and often in the top 5 - 10... T-Mac can easily slip down into the 8-16 range.
No shot the top WR in the class is available anywhere near pick 16.
We need playmakers at every position - RB is not the exception - AK will be 30, Taysom will be 35, and Miller hasn't been available for most of the 2 seasons he's been here.
RB is the exception. AK while 30 can still and should still carry the load. He's one of the top paid RBs in the entire league. We also just spend a premium pick on Miller and you want to spend the best draft pick we have had in the last decade on another RB??
Warren can go anywhere from 8 on down - a premium TE is becoming every bit as valuable in the NFL due to how many teams are playing 2 high all day long - Nearly Every real contender of a team has one. You can absolutely build a very good offense around one. I think he not only has that potential... I think his versatility and athletic ability makes him even more valuable than a traditional TE prospect.
Warren is not going to be a top 10 pick lmao. He's a fine TE but far from a generational one like Bowers who himself didn't go top 10.

I don't disagree an elite TE can be incredible weapon, I just disagree how highly you hav Warren rated.
We do this every year - and every year our offense doesn't get better - and every year I say how players like Bowers and Gibbs are worth spending high picks on and everyone acts like I am "interesting"... until they are all forced to agree.
As great as Bowers has been he hasn't translated to wins. The Raiders are one of the worst teams in the entire NFL. This is what you're missing about selecting a TE early. It's not that an elite one can be critical to an offense it's just they don't translate to winning unless you're already stacked at other positions which we are not.

Besides Fuaga has been an incredible rookie LT for us so and far more important than Bowers ever would have been. I have no clue why you're taking a victory lap with that take.
