I don’t disagree; just offering some perspective as to why he’s working hard to get back on the field. This young man is on the verge of significantly leveling-up on a life long dream. That second NFL contract is everything to many of these guys.
I would not give him a second contract, it's too much risk for a WR who tOSU and other schools churn out yearly. Most WRs in every draft are in the 6' 185lbs range and so many are sub 4.4 now. He's replaceable fairly easy.
Our FO should hold him out for the rest of the season and let him get healthy. If they play him, play him in the last game on a route that keeps him clean. This will showcase his health. Then trade him to a more finesse offense for whatever they can get, probably a 2nd or 3rd since everyone team knows he's 1 hit away from not playing anymore.
