Rattler is the only right answer

I guess in your universe a 1-1 TD-INT ratio, 70 QB rating, and getting benched in 2 of 3 starts is better than 3-1 TD-INT ratio and 88 QB rating. There’s no way you can make an argument that Rattler has outplayed Caleb.
I’m saying Williams does not stand out from Rattler in real time impact right now. In short time, a 5th round QB is playing on the same level as the #1 overall pick in sustaining drives and leading the offense to points and still improving. Rattler’s benching was to evaluate the other young QB who was drafted a year before him. Yet, Rattler came off the bench and led the Saints to all of their 19 points in one half. Thats the point I was making where Williams is playing similar but has a longer leash as the #1 overall pick who had full QB1 reps since May.

Williams has very misleading passing stats. He isn’t recording a significant portion of his TDs and yards during the first 2-3 quarters while his games are still competitive. Truer comparisons between the two would be first downs per drive, first downs per game, their total offensive points including FG pts, # of scoring drives, and the # of TDs when their teams are within two possession scores or better.
