Lacy also has this innate ability to drop easy passes in crucial situations. He will be money for the duration of the game, then have a costly drop. Like he loses focus or something. But, when he’s on, he’s stellar.
He kinda reminds of DJ Chark. A good WR who can be explosive, but suffers from the drops. Chark has a 9.3% drop rate in the NFL with a 7% drop rate at LSU. Lacy has an 11.5% drop rate in college which peaked at 18.5% in his last year at ULL, while his lowest was 9.1% in 2023 at LSU. If he hasn't done the summer of 10K catches yet, he probably needs to or do something to work on his drops. If he doesn't address that, he'll be an over 10% drop rate WR in the NFL and that's not good.
