You can furnish your entire apartment on a $1000 budget lol. It serves a purpose. Well, did.

E-commerce just too much for these places that have massive overhead in inventory, rents, utilities, payroll etc.

Sure e-commerce is a big part of it - but it also feels like Big Lots fumbled the bag a bit, some niche that Kmart had abandoned
But last time I was in one it felt little different than a dollar tree (and it looks like 5 Below is dominating that niche)
