Chris hasnt been paid yet. Whether or not its the right thing for him to do long term health wise, he's staring at generational wealth. I would not be able to turn down that opportunity. Almost nobody would.
Coming back this season is a double edged sword though. Returning improves his stock when its time to get a contract. If he stays healthy. Birlt if he gets knocked out again, it severely hurts his future market. If he suffers a devestating injury though, that could wipe out any chance of ever getting a big contract. Its a gamble for sure, but most pro athletes bet on themselves when it comes to these things.
