Rattler is the only right answer

You know what the best possible news is for a non competitive franchise who’s perpetually over the salary cap?

A QB taken in the 5th round turning out to be a stud. There is no better answer or hope. Even if he fails miserably, he still is the best answer. Let me explain …

Either Rattler is the Savior of the franchise or we draft Arch Manning in 26. Both of which are huge wins.
The only loss is in having an older injury prone expensive QB come in and win just enough to keep you out of the playoffs , and away from the QB of the future , and likely finish the season on IR.

I appreciate Carrs grit , but it’s become a detriment to our ability to move forward as an organization.

He cannot be the man of the future , he will not lead us to a superbowl , he is a significant portion of our salary cap problem , and he keeps you away from a young quarterback who can right the ship.

It’s time we pivot. Record be damned. Give Rattler every opportunity to learn his way through a season next year , and if he’s not that guy , We go get our guy.
I couldn't agree more with this post. Love and agree with it all.
