Odds of Rizzi Getting Permanent Job and, If So, What Type of Contract

If Rizzi gets the win tonight that will cement him as better than anything Allen did in 2 1/2 years.

I do believe Allen during that time only had 1 win vs an opponent w/ a winning record. Rizzin beat ATL earlier
I believe Allen only achieved 1 win in games decided by 3 points or less. Rizzi already has 2
I recall Kamara pointing out that prime games (specifically was talking about Thursday games) are typically won by the team w/ the most energy. If Rizzi gets a primetime win today he'll have again done something that Allen couldn't. Motivate and challenge his team.

He immediately got the passrush on track by relieving Grantham of his duties and promoting Bryan Young.

For me, that also puts him ahead of any 1st time coach you're likely to hire that is an unknown. I say give himi a chance to implement his full program, ESPECIALLY if he pulls of the W tonight vs Greenbay. It's a long shot...and that's why it would cement it for me.

Theres a lot to counter here. But that win against ATL, they were in the middle of a 4 game losing streak that ultimately led to the demotion of their starting QB. They are also in the NFC South, where no team actually wants to win the division.

The 2 wins that were 3 points of less? 1 was the aforementioned deflated Falcons, the other against the only 13 loss team in the NFL who is picking 1st overall in the draft. Id go far enough to say even Allen usually beat those kind of teams by more than 3 points.

Rizzi is not the guy. All he does is prolong continuity. He resets the 3 years we just got out of. The only way he should even be on the list is with a win tonight. And even then, he should be a long shot.

This is an opportunity to reset the franchise, hire with ambition and go through the necessary growing pains to get back to winning. Rizzi is going to get us to 6-11 to 9-8. He doesnt move the needle from Allen.
