If Rizzi gets the win tonight that will cement him as better than anything Allen did in 2 1/2 years.
I do believe Allen during that time only had 1 win vs an opponent w/ a winning record. Rizzin beat ATL earlier
I believe Allen only achieved 1 win in games decided by 3 points or less. Rizzi already has 2
I recall Kamara pointing out that prime games (specifically was talking about Thursday games) are typically won by the team w/ the most energy. If Rizzi gets a primetime win today he'll have again done something that Allen couldn't. Motivate and challenge his team.
He immediately got the passrush on track by relieving Grantham of his duties and promoting Bryan Young.
For me, that also puts him ahead of any 1st time coach you're likely to hire that is an unknown. I say give himi a chance to implement his full program, ESPECIALLY if he pulls of the W tonight vs Greenbay. It's a long shot...and that's why it would cement it for me.
