Only time will tell with Penix. They paid a lot of money to get less than a season out of Cousins and already have to see what they have in the rookie. It wasn't pretty nor that impressive, but with Cousins they got to a division lead with only a couple games to go. I see it more as a look on the bright side situation than one to be envious of. They had Penix to fall back on but thats asking a lot for a rookie to step in and win games that will ultimately decide their season. If Penix plays well against Washington and Carolina, they make post season and he does well there, then I could see that situation looking a lot better. I just don't think this 1 game showed enough to say Atlanta has it figured out.
