The only thing that is “new” is the extreme disparity in the amount of wealth in the US that the oligarchs in charge have compared to the working class.

The top 3 richest individuals in the US have as much wealth as the bottom 160,000,000. That is oligarchy. That is the pathology of wealth addiction. We are a sick society.
