If the saints have to rely on only drafting top tackles and guards then the problem is the saints themselves. Most other teams can make an oline work with multiple non1st pics. So either the coaches, the scheme or bad drafting. A top TE can help stopping the rush and help the online as the quick go to on a blitz.

If loomis wasn’t loomising every year, the 17vs 10 mil wouldn’t matter.


My biggest issue is we know what the saints do with picking 1st rounders in the draft, they regress each year they are here and never live up to their draft potential. Until they make some philosophical change that do a clean slate including loomis and anyone associated with the college scouting department there, until them I hope they draft playmakers every 1st round.
