UnitedHealth CEO shot

You don't need money to hire a Plaintiff attorney. They work on contingency fees. They take a percentage of what is recovered and get nothing if they don't win or settle the case for money.

People who live in Cancer Alley sue all the time and win. Have you ever heard of Danny Becnel? Have you not seen the commercials advertising for mesothelioma, cancer, and asbestosis cases?
This isn't entirely correct. Some plantiff attorneys work on contingency and will only take cases that they deem to have merit which can be somewhat subjective. If you can't get someone to take your case on contingency, it's really hard to hire adequate legal representation that can go up against a corporation that has endless budgets, staff attorneys and specialized law firms on retainer.

The cases you decribed above are also all very egregious and class action. Not every case is like that.
