The fact that SP knew 2020 was Drew’s last year, he should’ve drafted a QB. QB is the most important position. Seems like any other team in the league would’ve drafted a QB. So, even if SP had the notion that he was tied to Drew, he still should’ve got us a guy for his eventual exit.
Not looking to argue the point you guys are making, but was it because Drew didn't retire when expected, meaning Brady didn't come to NO, that basically borked the succession plan SP wanted in place? I may have all the timing wrong, though.
