The Broncos didn’t restructure Russell after year 1 like we did w/ Carr. Monetarily it doesn’t make sense to take a large cap hit to have him play on another team in 2025.
After 2025 we can do it tho. However you can tell their handling of Carr ie not shelving him after the wrist suggest they have every intention of paying him next season.
As long as we don’t restructure him again in the offseason it means we’re preparing for life after him in 2026
