I like what I have seen from Rattler. He's got a ways to go, but considering the circumstances, he's played about as well as you could expect and has been far from our biggest issue in the games he's played. These starts and reps that he's getting right now are invaluable. He has virtually everything working against him and is getting very little help from his teammates, but he's battling out there every play and flashing.
I doubt he goes into next season as the starter, as he probably won't quite be ready yet, but I'm encouraged that there is something there to work with for the future. Carr isn't going to be cut, and will almost certainly go into the '25 as the starter. I think Rattler would rather easily beat out any QB we might potentially draft, as I highly doubt we'll use an early round pick on one.
Y'all need to brace yourself for another rough transitional year and just understand it's part of the process. There is simply no quick fix available.
